According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the tragic collision occurred around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 7 and Victoria Groves Boulevard. Investigators reported that Albert Humphrey was riding a Suzuki motorcycle southbound in the center lane when a sports utility vehicle traveling northbound attempted to turn southbound at the intersection. During the turn, the motorcycle collided with the rear of the SUV, resulting in a violent impact that ejected Albert from the motorcycle.
Authorities described the crash as catastrophic, with the force of the collision splitting the motorcycle into multiple pieces and scattering debris across the roadway. Albert was reportedly thrown more than 200 feet from the point of impact. Emergency personnel from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue arrived quickly at the scene and immediately began life-saving efforts before transporting him to St. Mary’s Medical Center for emergency treatment.
